Our Mission at Wakefield Goldens is to produce high quality Golden Retrievers that are healthy, sound dogs with loving temperaments. All dogs in our breeding program are bred after the age of two and have their clearances (hips, elbows, eyes, advanced cardiac) as well as all genetic tests available for the Golden Retriever breed offered through Paw Print genetics (Essential and Supplemental panels).

Puppies are raised in a family home atmosphere for better socialization and will go to their furever homes after 8+ weeks of age. Prospective pet owners must pass a screening test before purchasing a puppy.

All puppies from our litters are registered with the AKC. We prefer that show quality pups with full AKC registration go to show homes. Pet quality puppies are sold on a limited registration. For more information about show versus pet puppies please read this article.
